About the Music

I love the Clinton's!!!!!

I went to college with their lead singer, John McLellan, and have been a fan since before the Clinton's even existed. There is a link to their website on my links page. There are two photos for this page. The first is a photo I took in college of John, and the other one is the cover of their latest album.

They got their start about nine years ago at a frat party on the upper floor of the Story Mansion in Bozeman, Montana. Since then they’ve played almost 1000 shows which has allowed them to tour around the western half of the US and occasionally share the stage with some pretty cool and respectable bands like Dierks Bentley, Barenaked Ladies, Blackhawk, Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers and the Kentucky Headhunters. Most of their shows are at music venues that hold between 200 and 500 people.

They really live for playing shows but a close second to that is making records– taking their music ideas and carving them in stone. They love to write the really greasy rock/country sellout songs just as much as they dig the off the wall, left field songs that nobody gets but them and their fans. They’re currently writing for their seventh record and they're going to try and take their fans along for the ride inside the Clintons Intern Army.
